Axiomatic Paintings at Ryan Renshaw

Bryan Spier will be presenting a suite of new work titled Axiomatic Paintings at Ryan Renshaw Gallery in Brisbane.  The exhibition runs from September 12 to October 6 2012.

You Give Good Colour at Sophie Gannon

You Give Good Colour is a group show that has been curated by Claudia Damichi. In includes work by Seth Birchall, Claudia Damichi, David Harley, Gregory Hodge, Dan Hollier, David Sequiera, Noël Skrzypczak and Bryan Spier. It will be showing at Sophie Gannon Gallery from 29 September to 20 October 2012.

Shifting Geometries in Washington DC

Three of Bryan’s  paintings are included in an exhibition at the Australian Embassy Gallery in Washington DC. The show  includes some of Australia’s finest artists that explore problems of geometry, including Melinda Harper, John Nixon, Raafat Ishak and Gemma Smith. It opens on 11 July 2012.  Featured paintings: Thrown World, Denouement and Prologue.

Word of Mouth at Canberra Museum and Gallery

This exhibition focuses on abstract artists that have an affiliation with the Canberra School of Art. It includes excellent works by artists such as Dionisia Salas Hammer, Greg Hodge, Peter Maloney and Ruth Waller, as well as four works by Bryan Spier. That is on now until 13 August 2012.
